Inclusive Education Requires More Than Good Intentions
Most educators want students with disabilities to experience meaningful access, participation, belonging, and success. Yet educators are often expected to implement inclusion, provide accommodations, support IEP goals, collaborate across roles, and monitor progress without a shared understanding of what those responsibilities look like in daily practice.

Alicia Rodriguez is a retired Education Specialist, author, professional-learning facilitator, and founder of Differentiate4You Educational Consulting.
During nearly 30 years in special education, she worked as an educator, co-teacher, mentor, case manager, curriculum developer, and collaborative partner. Her experience includes differentiation, inclusive instruction, standards-based IEPs, small-group intervention, culturally responsive teaching, Universal Instructional Design, progress monitoring, and educational-team collaboration.
